Transmission Use of System (TUoS) Agreement
What is this licence?
A Transmission Use of System Agreement is an agreement between a supplier and the Transmission System Operator (TSO). It is to use the transmission system for the transmission of electricity directly or indirectly to a relevant supply point.
Suppliers and generators seeking to use the transmission system will be required to enter into a TUoS agreement with the TSO.
When do I need it?
Once a Grid Connection Agreement has been offered by either the Distribution System Operator (DSO) or Transmission System Operator (TSO), the TSO will make contact with the customer to initiate the TUoS application process.
