Notice to Close and Application to Terminate Connection Agreement
What is this licence?
If you want to close an agreement or terminate a connection with Eirgrid, you need to notify them of your intent.
Transmission connection agreement
The TSO aim to validate applications to terminate connections within 10 working days. They may contact generators if further information is needed to process the application. This will happen within the 10 working day timeframe.
Distribution connected generators
For distribution connected generators, the TSO will liaise with the distribution system or network operator. Together they will determine the completion date of the application. This date on which the application is deemed complete is the reference date for the notice period requirement.
