Licence to Photograph or Film a Protected Wild Animal or Bird
What is this licence?
Generally, you don't need a licence to photograph or film protected wild animals. This is as long as there's no risk of disturbing their breeding place. If you intend to photograph these animals on or near their breeding place, you should apply for a licence.
It is issued by the Minister under Section 23 (6)(b) of the Wildlife Act, 1976 (as amended).
